Sanctions totaling more than a quarter of a million dollars against Marina del Rey copyright lawyer Anthony Kornarens were well deserved, a U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals panel held Monday.
Kornarens pursued a frivolous copyright infringement claim over the rights to a song composed, but not owned, by his client for an Indian movie in 1981.
