Berkeley Professor Named UCLA Dean
As expected, Rachel F. Moran, a longtime professor at UC Berkeley School of Law, who took a leave of absence to help found the new law school at UC Irvine, has been selected as UCLA School of Law's new dean, school officials announced Friday.

LOS ANGELES - As expected, Rachel F. Moran, a longtime professor at UC Berkeley School of Law, who took a leave of absence to help found the new law school at UC Irvine, has been selected as UCLA School of Law's new dean, school officials announced Friday.
Moran, who teaches torts, education law, and race and the law, will assume the role of dean and professor of law on Oct. 15.
