Google Accused Of Age Discrimination

The California Supreme Court, which will hear arguments Wednesday on whether a jury should be allowed to hear the allegations that engineering executive Brian Reid we discriminated against because of his age.

From the first day he arrived at Google, engineering executive Brian Reid was constantly reminded that he was more than two decades older than the company's young founders, Larry Page and Sergey Brin.

Co-workers who cleverly hung CD jewel cases as office door nameplates joked to Reid that an LP cover might be more appropriate for a 52-year-old.
