MacPherson Kwok Merges With Texas Firm

MacPherson, Kwok, Chen & Heid, an intellectual property boutique with offices in San Jose and Irvine, has agreed to merge with Haynes and Boone, a 550-lawyer Texas-based firm.

SAN JOSE - MacPherson, Kwok, Chen & Heid, an intellectual property boutique with offices in San Jose and Irvine, has agreed to merge with Haynes and Boone, a 550-lawyer Texas-based firm.

The marriage was finalized Tuesday, less than two months after Alan MacPherson, who co-founded the firm seven years ago, died of a heart attack at age 74.
