MoFo Axes 53 Lawyers And 148 Staff

In one of the biggest law firm layoffs so far this year, San Francisco-based Morrison & Foerster Wednesday announced it was laying off 53 lawyers and 148 staff. Echoing the sentiments of other firms that have made similar moves recently, MoFo cited the "extraordinary economic downturn" as a driving factor in the decision.

SAN FRANCISCO - In one of the biggest law firm layoffs so far this year, San Francisco-based Morrison & Foerster Wednesday announced it was laying off 53 lawyers and 148 staff.
