Court Interpreters Strike in L.A.
Hundreds of court interpreters in Los Angeles and two smaller counties went on strike Wednesday after months of trying to negotiate for higher pay. Workers picketed outside five Los Angeles County courthouses, but court officials said proceedings inside were not interrupted.
