Velasquez - Regarding the Daily Journal's Aug. 30, 2007, story, "Judicial Branch to Install Own Ethics Panel," I was troubled by the suggestion of Chief Justice Ronald George that it is inappropriate for judges to offer guidance to other judges seeking to avoid possible ethical violations.
