Jury Awards $1.2 Million to Hate-Crime Victim

RIVERSIDE - A federal jury in Los Angeles, handing down a verdict in a rare hate-crime civil case, has ordered six alleged supporters of a white supremacist faction to pay $1.2 million in damages to a black man injured in a vicious attack by the gang at a drinking party eight years ago.
