Senate Panel OKs Arbitration Bill

SACRAMENTO - The Senate Judiciary Committee approved a bill Tuesday that would prohibit pre-employment mandatory arbitration clauses. Meanwhile, the Assembly Judiciary Committee heard testimony on a bill that would prevent dispute resolution providers from charging consumers for the costs of mandatory arbitration. A vote on the bill was expected Tuesday night.
