Judge Rules Compton Must Pay Fees

LOS ANGELES - In a cautious postscript to her unprecedented decision in the Compton election challenge case, Judge Judith Chirlin said Tuesday that she will order the city to pay nearly $700,000 in fees to attorneys for former Mayor Omar Bradley but will stay the award until an appeals court can review it.
