Schroeder Takes 9th Circuit Reins on Dec. 1

SAN FRANCISCO - Arizona Judge Mary Schroeder of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said Thursday she will assume the post of chief judge of the court on Dec. 1, making her the first woman to lead the nation's largest appeals court.
