Sunnyvale's AeroGen Inc. has filed an initial public offering valued at $57 million. The company makes pulmonary drug-delivery systems to treat sufferers of asthma, cystic fibrosis and other chronic lung diseases. Its primary product, the AeroNeb, delivers aerosol drugs directly into the lungs. Partners include PathoGenesis and Becton Dickinson.
