Ex-Times Lawyer McDaniel Joins Katten Muchin Zavis
Katherine McDaniel, former director of intellectual property for Times Mirror Co. and a member of its newly dispersed legal department, has joined the Los Angeles office of Chicago's Katten Muchin Zavis as counsel to the firm. McDaniel, who will continue to focus on intellectual property and trademark law, boosts Katten Muchin's transactional intellectual property group to six attorneys.
