Tesla alleges self-driving data theft by defecting employee

A pair of managers from Google Inc. and Tesla Motors Inc. are accused of starting a competing self-driving startup with Tesla engineers and data.

Two aspiring startup founders have been accused of stealing proprietary self-driving testing data and attempting to poach engineers from former employers Google Inc. and Tesla Motors Inc. in the hopes of launching a competing venture, according to a breach of contract suit filed by Tesla on Thursday.
