McGeorge School of Law hires new dean

Experienced academic Michael Hunter Schwartz is returning to California to become the dean at the University of Pacific's McGeorge School of Law.

Experienced academic Michael Hunter Schwartz is returning to California to become the dean at the University of Pacific's McGeorge School of Law.

Schwartz will succeed outgoing Dean Francis J. Mootz III in July.

Mootz, who has served in the top job since 2012, will return to full-time teaching at McGeorge.
