The recent article about dependency counsel was accurate and important. ["No increase for children's counsel fund," Jan. 12.] We have been representing foster kids without compensation for 25 years. We see throughout this state a system where an attorney has 200 to 400 children as clients. They cannot meet the federal requirements for the representation they need. The consequences are many and substantial.
