Silicon Valley equipment maker hires general counsel

Sunnyvale-based Infinera Corp. has appointed an experienced semiconductor company lawyer as its new senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary.

Sunnyvale-based Infinera Corp. has appointed a new senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. James Laufman joined the optical transmission equipment manufacturer Oct. 20.


Laufman replaced Alastair Short, who left the position in August after less than one year with the company.
