Sirius XM hopes Petrocelli can reverse devastating court rulings

The satellite broadcaster is bringing in the big guns - litigator Daniel M. Petrocelli - in an attempt to reverse costly copyright infringement rulings on both the federal and state level.

Faced with two monumentally unfavorable rulings that could bode untold millions in royalty payments, Sirius XM Radio Inc. has traded in its lawyers for prominent litigator Daniel M. Petrocelli, a partner at O'Melveny & Myers LLP.
