Longtime Alameda County judge, a former prosecutor, to retire

Kenneth M. Burr, an Alameda County Superior Court judge, will retire at the end of this year after 17 years on the bench.

Kenneth M. Burr, an Alameda County Superior Court judge, will retire at the end of this year after 17 years on the bench.


Reached Monday, Burr said he has had a "great legal career with the county," having served as a judge and 18 years as an Alameda County prosecutor.
