Litigants protest 'broken' family court system at Judicial Council meeting

The group that organized the speakers, Marin County-based "Center for Judicial Excellence," is a longtime gadfly that has pushed for reforms to the state's family court system.

SAN FRANCISCO - Dozens of angry litigants took over the public comment period at Monday's California Judicial Council meeting to protest what they say is a broken family court system.


"It is imperative that the Judicial Council has a full public hearing on the problems in the family court," Kim Robinson, a family law attorney, told the council.
