EPA Denies State's Waiver on Emissions
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Wednesday blocked California's attempts to enforce its own standards for greenhouse gases coming from motor vehicles, a standard that more than a dozen states around the country were planning to adopt.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Wednesday blocked California's attempts to enforce its own standards for greenhouse gases coming from motor vehicles, a standard that more than a dozen states around the country were planning to adopt.
California Gov. Arnold Schwarzengger vowed to appeal the decision.
