Parental rights bill not a 'change' in the law, more like a clarification
SB 115 does nothing more than give the courts an opportunity to look carefully at the facts of each case and, based on those facts, determine what is fair and equitable - and what is necessary to protect the child.
I was surprised to read Lisa Sutton's article in the Daily Journal about Senate Bill 115, especially her arguments that the bill would have a negative impact on lesbian mothers.
