Current law 'makes an absurdity a reality' for sperm donors

Opponents of Senate Bill 115 - which would allow sperm donors to pursue parental rights in certain situations - attempt to argue that passage of the bill would vitiate the legal protection that exists when an unmarried woman seeks to have a child using donor sperm.


However, the alarm that a single woman - gay or straight - who chooses to have a child using donor sperm loses all protection from a parentage claim under SB 115 is misgui...
