Litigation financing fund could expand options for law firm clients

California companies and law firms could see more litigation financing as a result of Chicago-based Gerchen Keller Capital LLC's $100 million litigation-financing fund launched Monday.

Chicago-based Gerchen Keller Capital LLC, which launched a $100 million litigation-financing fund Monday, said in an interview that it plans to focus in part on intellectual property, targeting large companies in Silicon Valley and beyond.
