Del Norte County district attorney suspended without pay after State Bar misconduct ruling

Jon M. Alexander's title is still district attorney of Del Norte County, despite having his law license suspended Sunday after a misconduct recommendation by a State Bar judge.

Jon M. Alexander's title is still district attorney of Del Norte County, despite having his law license suspended Sunday after a misconduct recommendation by a State Bar judge.


But if the state Supreme Court approves his disbarment, the small county's supervisors could appoint an interim top prosecutor until their next general election, county administrative officer Jay Sarina said.
