Zynga deputy general counsel departs gaming company

The former deputy general counsel for Zynga Inc. has left the gaming company to take a break from work.

The former deputy general counsel for Zynga Inc. has left the gaming company to take a break from work.

Jay Monahan confirmed that he left the San Francisco-based company last month to travel with his family. Monahan, his wife and their daughter plan to spend at least a year in Paris, France. Monahan oversaw intellectual property issues, privacy, government relations, employment matters and litigation for the gaming company.
