SACRAMENTO - Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's budget proposal to close a $20 billion shortfall for 2010-11 hit many agencies hard, but the state's trial courts are not one of them.
On the contrary, the courts will see the end of some of the cuts instituted in last year's budget and could be the benefactors of rare new revenue.
