WASHINGTON In a unanimous vote Thursday, the U.S. Senate confirmed two nominees for federal district judgeships in California.
Los Angeles labor attorney Dolly M. Gee of Schwartz, Steinsapir, Dohrmann & Sommers, was appointed to the Central District, becoming the first Chinese-American woman to be a federal district judge.
