Heller Settles with Orrick

San Francisco law firm Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe has agreed to pay now-defunct Heller Erhman $1.5 million for work already completed for Heller's former clients, plus 40 percent of future profits on contingency fee matters.

San Francisco's now defunct Heller Ehrman reached a settlement with fellow San Francisco law firm Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe regarding work Orrick took on after Heller dissolved last year. Orrick has agreed to pay Heller $1.5 million for work already completed for Heller's former clients, plus 40 percent of future profits on contingency fee matters.
