The putatively unbiased, just-the-facts description of 9th Circuit oral argument in "Court Considers Catholic Group's Rights," (Dec. 17) frames the issue as "whether local officials violated the constitution by establishing a policy condemning certain religious beliefs" or "whether religious groups must be treated with kid gloves in public policy debates."
