Schering Ends Medi-Cal Case for $21M

California accused drugmaker Schering-Plough of bilking the state's strapped Medi-Cal program by deliberately inflating the price of its popular generic Albuterol and other drugs.

California has reached a $21.3 million settlement with drug maker Schering-Plough over accusations the company bilked the state's strapped Medi-Cal program by deliberately inflating the price of its popular generic respiratory drug Albuterol, among other drugs.
