Judge dismisses much of environmental contamination lawsuit

A mass toxic tort alleging $500 million in damages was gutted after plaintiffs' expert witnesses could not prove causation.

A mass tort alleging environmental contamination beneath low-income housing in Los Angeles was partially dismissed with prejudice last week after six years of litigation.
