LOS ANGELES - Mary L. Walker, a former partner of San Francisco's Brobeck Phleger & Harrison, was to be sworn in today as general counsel of the Department of the Air Force.
President Bush nominated Walker, 52, to the position in late September. Senate hearings for Walker took place the following month, and the Senate confirmed her nomination in early November.
