AG Probes False-Billing Allegations

SAN BERNARDINO - The state attorney general's office is investigating allegations by county officials that Robert J. O'Connor - a Hesperia lawyer who promised to challenge Presiding Judge Roberta McPeters in the county's only contested judicial election - collected $58,000 in false reimbursement claims from the county.
