Venture Law Becomes the First to Slash Attorney Pay

LOS ANGELES - Venture Law Group has done it again. Early last summer, the Menlo Park-based firm became the first in Silicon Valley to acknowledge economy-based layoffs. That move set off a chain of similar cuts at other tech-heavy firms, including Palo Alto's Fenwick & West and Cooley Godward.
