Long Beach Court May Get New Look
LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday approved a $1.1 million contract with GKK Corp. for design services to improve the 41-year-old Long Beach courthouse.
In August, the supervisors agreed to spend $14 million to upgrade the six-story courthouse, whose courtrooms are operating at maximum capacity, according to a county report.
