Employers Strictly Liable for Sex Harassment

SAN FRANCISCO - A state appellate court on Thursday handed a major victory to employees suing over sexual harassment by their supervisors, reaffirming that employers are strictly liable under California law even if they did not know about the objectionable conduct.
