Chief Justice urges State Bar to pursue reforms

The chief's letter comes after the Legislature failed to approve a bill funding and reforming the bar.

The state Supreme Court has urged the embattled State Bar to adopt reforms lawmakers and Chief Justice Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye agreed to include in competing bar funding bills, neither of which were enacted before the Legislature recently concluded its 2016 session.
