Film company sues Paramount for alleged lackluster marketing campaign

The company contends that Paramount intentionally sabotaged the 2010 film "Middle Men."

A film production company suing Paramount Pictures Corp. claims to be a victim of the studio's "new media strategy," which emphasized the importance of the studio's proprietary streaming deals over the film's box office success — according to the lawyer who filed the complaint Wednesday.
