Assembly continues aggressive oversight of State Bar

The chamber's Judiciary Committee sent a letter with probing questions Thursday to the bar's leader.

While the state Assembly could not get the Senate to support a State Bar dues bill with strong governance reforms, the lower chamber has made clear its aggressive oversight of the bar is far from over.
