Proposal to unify court worker salary structure blasted by judges

The Commission on the Future of California's Court System's public comment session in Los Angeles received particular scrutiny on a proposal to create uniform state classification and salary structures for court workers and one to re-examine court reporter compensation and ownership of transcripts.

The Commission on the Future of California's Court System's public comment session in Los Angeles, chaired by Justice A. Corrigan, received particular scrutiny on two of its 10 presented concepts: a proposal to create uniform state classification and salary structures for court workers, and a proposal to re-examine court reporter compensation and ownership of transcripts.
