Composer beats copyright suit

Plaintiff and composer Richard Friedman said he was mistaken to believe Hans Zimmer had infringed.

A lawsuit against prominent Hollywood composer Hans Zimmer came to an untraditional end Thursday, with the plaintiff voluntarily dropping the suit after realizing he was mistaken in asserting copyright infringement claims.
