State Legislature passes new innocence standard

Easing what was once one of the toughest standards in the nation for proving innocence, the state Legislature Thursday passed a bill that would align California law more closely with other states.

Easing what was once one of the toughest standards in the nation for proving innocence, the state Legislature Thursday passed a bill that would align California law more closely with other states.
