Wal-Mart gender discrimination suit heads to class certification

SAN FRANCISCO - Plaintiffs in the leaner version of an 11-year-old gender discrimination lawsuit against Wal-Mart Stores Inc. passed the motion to dismiss stage Friday - a major hurdle given the beating the case took last year before the U.S. Supreme Court.
