Zero-Tolerance Polices Reflect a Lack of Thought

"Educationese" is the only language in which "zero tolerance" translates to "head up in lock." The phrase illustrates what so-called educators are doing in the name of eliminating violence in schools: They've shackled their brains, along with their common sense, in some dark recess, and they've forgotten where they put the key.
