High Court Will Hear Tax Suit Filed By Judges 11 Years Ago

WASHINGTON - Nearly 11 years have passed since 16 federal judges filed suit in the old U.S. Claims Court, contending that Congress violated the Constitution in 1983 and 1984, when it required all federal judges to begin paying Social Security and Medicare taxes.
