U.S. Drops Bomb-Threat Charges
Federal prosecutors dropped charges Friday against a Santa Monica salesman after his lawyers offered evidence that they say shows he could not have made cell phone calls threatening to blow up Staples Center and a newspaper office during the Democratic National Convention.
