Reasons for UCLA patient’s record leak debated as trial opens

A trial in Los Angeles County Superior Court that started Tuesday will determine if the UC Regents violated the state's Confidentiality of Medical Information Act and invaded the privacy of plaintiff Norma Lozano when her medical records were leaked.
