9th Circuit grants habeas relief to man allegedly tricked by police into confession

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals granted habeas relief Friday to a young man sentenced to 50 years in prison for murder after finding Riverside police "took affirmative steps to ensure" he did not understand his Miranda rights.
