Nursing home inspector alleges retaliation by county health department

The plaintiff claims the county made her perform work that was against the law in order to reduce their backlog of nursing home complaints.

Claiming Los Angeles County Department of Public Health supervisors made her "do something
which she felt was unsafe, unlawful and unethical," a former inspector - who previously
alleged the county falsified when it received complaints about nursing homes - has
sued the county health department for retaliation.
